On March 28, 2022, Pacifico Energy received a letter of appreciation from Yamagata prefecture for our corporate version of Furusato tax payment. The letter of appreciation was issued by the governor of Yamagata for Pacifico Energy’s tax payment to prefectural projects to support child-rearing households and reduce the financial burden of childbirth and child-rearing.
The ceremony was held at Pacifico Energy’s office. Mr. Sadayuki Oizumi, Head of Tokyo Branch Office, presented the letter of appreciation to Mr. Hiroki Matsuo, President and CEO of Pacifico Energy.
In light of the serious impact of COVID-19 on local communities, economies, and livelihoods, our President and CEO, Hiroki Matsuo, and its employees declined a portion of their 2021 bonuses and other compensation, and provided support through the Furusato tax payments to 11 prefectures where we have been operating solar power plants for the development of children and future generations.
Pacifico Energy remains committed to building a sustainable society for the next generation and will continue to coexist with the community to nurture young people, create jobs, and support small businesses rooted in the community.
