ABOUT
Photovoltaics is a technology that uses the sun's light energy to generate electricity. Devices called solar panels or solar cells receive sunlight and convert light energy into electrical energy.
Photovoltaic power generation contributes to Japan's energy self-sufficiency because it uses sunlight to generate electricity. In addition, photovoltaic power generation has a low environmental impact with no noise, vibration, exhaust, or wastewater, and contributes to climate change countermeasures by reducing emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.
Pacifico Energy has been developing large-scale solar power generation projects on former golf course sites, and has developed 1.3 GW of solar power plants on its own since its establishment, the largest of its kind in Japan.
Coexistence with the local community and nature is essential in the development of solar projects. We have always been committed to building and operating power sources that are rooted in the local community and friendly to nature. IN OPERATION
Pacifico Energy has been developing solar power generation projects in Japan since 2012, the first year of the introduction of the government's fixed price purchase system for renewable energy. Since then Pacifico has obtained facility certifications from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the mega solar projects totaling over 1.5GW.
