On Sunday, 21 November 2021, a multi-generational community event called “Fureai Walking” was held in the Maenosho district of Yumesaki-cho, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, jointly organized by Sports Club 21 Maenosho, Maenosho School District Longevity Association, and Maenosho District United Community Association.
The event was attended by around 180 people, including primary school children, families, and seniors, who walked the 6km round trip from Maenosho Sports Square to the power station in Shinjo, then they walked up the hill for 1km each way to see the Pacific Energy Yumemae Mega Solar Power Station.
Furthermore, they also participated in the planting ceremony of 30 Someiyoshino cherry blossom trees at the site.
At Pacifico Energy Yumesaki Mega Solar Power Station, Mr. Yamashita, the director of the plant, and other staff of Asahi Maintenance are working closely with the local communities to provide affordable, reliable, and stable power supply for our children, grandchildren, and future generations.
