On April 23, 2024, Pacifico Energy held the second workshop at the Ritsumeikan Tokyo Campus, continuing from the previous year in 2023, with participation from the students of Ritsumeikan Moriyama High School.
During the workshop, students were given the challenge: “How can we introduce renewable energy projects to a town?” They were divided into groups such as development, investment, government, and offtakers, and each group presented their actions and solutions to the issues. The students were actively engaged in the workshop, asking questions to employees during breaks as well as group discussions.
The students at the workshop expressed that, although there were challenges related to environmental conservation and the construction and operation of safe solar power plants, they recognized the need for renewable energy in the future and expressed a desire to adopt it. This suggests that they gained a deeper understanding of solar power from various perspectives.
