On May 7, 2024, Hiroki Matsuo, President and CEO of Pacifico Energy delivered a special lecture on environmental economics to students of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kyushu University, held at the Ito Campus in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
During the lecture, Matsuo, who is also an alumnus of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kyushu University, shared insights into his career, the necessity of renewable energy, and topics such as the feed-in tariff system from the perspective of environmental economics. After the lecture, a session was held for interaction with students, where they asked questions about their research, how to engage with local communities, and future career development.
The lecture concluded with a message from Matsuo encouraging students, who are about to begin their job search, to pursue careers that contribute to solving societal challenges.
