On Thursday 6 October 2022, third to sixth graders and teachers from Izuruhara Primary School in Sano, Tochigi, visited the Pacifico Energy Sano Solar Power Plant.
Although it was raining, the students’ curiosity seemed to have been aroused as they saw the solar power plant for the first time. In the classroom, they learned about the different types of renewable energy and how solar power works and actually got to touch the panels and cables.
We were delighted to be able to provide the children, who will be responsible for the next generation, with an opportunity to learn about the workings of natural energy. We hope to continue this kind of opportunity every year.
